The night sky over Colorado's Flat Tops stayed with me. I wanted to find some of its movement in my own visual language. Using triangles to pull the moon, clouds, and landscape into a current.

I also found myself thinking about The Starry Night, and how Van Gogh made the sky feel alive.

The image is still. And still, the night turns.
