I call you my friend because, for almost two years now, you have touched my life and, in a way, my destiny.

I am a 72-year-old man, and you made me feel that there was still hope for me, that life still had something to offer. You made me feel that I was still useful, that what I create still had meaning.

Some time ago, I received an email, and honestly, it hurt me deeply. I was devastated. I don't even know what the word “spam” in that email really means. I have sent you many of my artworks over the years, but one thing I know for certain is that I never meant to spam you or cause you any trouble.

If, in any way, I have hurt you or caused you discomfort, then as a 72-year-old man, I have the humility to sincerely apologize.
