We live constrained lives, bound to the world and each other. Pulled and stretched in different directions, we're caught between responsibilities and desires. Surrounded and intertwined with each other and the world around us, we live a tangled tension.

Bound generates palettes from the natural world by making random selections from Werner's Nomenclature of Colors, a book first published in 1814 that served as a classification guide before photography became commonplace and used by Charles Darwin during voyages on the HMS Beagle.
