As an artist, coneheadsquid has collaborated with Yuran Yakon on the GIF series Play: Current Version, which explores textures, playfulness, and videogame aesthetics across sixteen works. The collaboration followed a single joint piece, Stream 123: The Guardian, made in 2025. Described as a meeting between “two artists nearly unknown to each other”, the series builds each GIF from rich textures and simple humor, with a layered compositional density likened to “a geological process of shared thought”.² The collection was released on objkt.com in 2026.³
