Her poem CORD, curated by the artist 0xFAR, was the work behind that historic Sotheby's sale.Caballero has also received Colombia's José Manuel Arango National Poetry Prize for her debut collection Entre domingo y domingo, the Steel Toe Books Poetry Prize for her manuscript Mammal, and the International Beverly Prize for a nonfiction manuscript.She is a five-time Lumen Prize finalist, and in 2025 won the prize's Still Image Award.,
That award recognized The Sylphs, part of her series Being Borges, which uses AI image generation to reinterpret Jorge Luis Borges and Margarita Guerrero's 1957 bestiary The Book of Imaginary Beings.For each creature, she generates images from the original Spanish text, from the English translation Borges supervised, and from her own reinterpretive poem, comparing how each language produces a different visual register.,“I'm fascinated by the literary implications of AI visual prompting, because I believe it represents a linguistic evolution, one we've yet to fully acknowledge”, she has said of the project.
Her 2023 project Paperwork, made with Bright Moments, turned one-word audience reactions gathered at live poetry performances in Valencia, Los Angeles and Bogotá into a generative AI collection of 100 digital paper sculptures rooted in each city's architecture.Her 2025 solo show “Echo Graph” at Office Impart in Berlin took a single poem from her book Mammal, about the emergency delivery of her first child, and reinterpreted it across performance, sculpture and text.
With Alex Estorick, she made artifacts, a generative AI project reimagining historical coinage.,Its Ashmolean Edition became the first original NFT acquired by Oxford's Ashmolean Museum.Her work is also held in the collections of the Museo Reina Sofía, MACBA Barcelona, the Francisco Carolinum and HEK Basel, and she has performed at the Venice Biennale and Art Basel.,
