Bio
Alireza Movahedi is an Iranian photographer based in Tehran whose work explores the psychological landscapes of the environment. Working through photomontage and digital manipulation, he builds hauntological images that oscillate between memory and presence, illusion and truth, beauty and pain. He often manipulates his photographs to resemble analog images, aiming to connect the viewer's unconscious to the aesthetic sensations of the past.
